Hybrid Heating System

The PAX Four uses a hybrid heating system that combines conduction and convection. Conduction heats the herb directly through contact with the heated chamber, ensuring that the material reaches an even temperature quickly. Convection, on the other hand, circulates hot air around the herb, which helps to maintain a uniform vapor output throughout the session. Temperature Control Modes

The device offers four preset temperature modes that can be selected by shaking the unit. The temperatures are 190 °C, 200 °C, 210 °C, and 220 °C. Each mode is labeled as a petal, allowing users to quickly switch between settings for different flavor profiles or vapor density. Lower temperatures produce lighter, more aromatic vapor, while higher temperatures yield denser clouds with stronger taste.

The PAX Four reaches the selected temperature in approximately 55 seconds to 70 seconds. During this period, a haptic feedback mechanism vibrates when the device is shaken. The vibration serves two purposes: it indicates that the battery has sufficient charge remaining and it allows users to set heat settings without touching the unit, which can be useful in situations where cleanliness or hygiene is important.

Mouthpiece Options

The package includes both a flat mouthpiece and a raised mouthpiece. The flat mouthpiece offers a direct contact surface that some users find more comfortable for longer sessions, while the raised mouthpiece provides a slight elevation that can reduce condensation on the user’s lips.
