Battery

The Novo Axis incorporates a 1350 mAh lithium‑ion cell that is sealed inside the lightweight aluminum alloy body. This capacity is sufficient to support most daily vaping sessions, especially when operating in ECO mode, which prioritizes energy efficiency and extends runtime. The battery’s internal circuitry manages charge distribution across the device’s components, ensuring consistent power delivery during both low‑power and high‑output draws. Users can monitor remaining capacity through the integrated 0.96 inch TFT display, allowing them to plan recharges before depletion.

Charging

Recharging is performed via a USB Type‑C port located on the rear of the chassis. The use of USB Type‑C provides several practical benefits: it supports reversible plug orientation, enabling easier connection; it allows for higher data transfer rates if firmware updates are required; and it is compatible with a wide range of modern chargers and cables. When connected to a power source, the device’s internal charging controller regulates voltage and current to protect the battery from overcharge or overheating.

Display

The 0.96 inch TFT screen sits flush with the body until the device is activated by a draw or button press, maintaining a streamlined exterior when idle. Once awakened, the display reveals key operational metrics: battery percentage, puff count, and current power mode (ECO, NORMAL, POWER). The screen also supports three visual themes—Classic, Dynamic, and Rave—that alter color schemes and iconography without affecting underlying functionality. This feature allows users to personalize their interface while retaining quick access to essential data.

Firing System

The Novo Axis offers a dual firing mechanism: it can be triggered by inhalation (draw) or by pressing a button on the chassis. The draw‑activated mode engages the heating element automatically when airflow is detected, providing an intuitive experience for users accustomed to traditional pod systems. The button‑activated mode allows precise control over power delivery; pressing the button initiates a puff of predetermined length and intensity, which can be useful in situations where a quick, controlled hit is desired. Both firing methods are supported by the same heating element, ensuring consistent vapor production across modes.

Airflow

An adjustable airflow system is integrated into the pod assembly, enabling users to fine‑tune their draw from tight mouth‑to‑lung (MTL) to a looser restricted direct lung (RDL) style. This adjustability is achieved through a small dial or sliding mechanism on the pod that opens or closes internal vents. By altering airflow, users can influence vapor density and flavor intensity: tighter airflow typically yields denser vapor with stronger flavor concentration, while looser airflow produces lighter vapor and a smoother inhale.

Pod System

The kit is compatible exclusively with the Novo SLR 2.0 Pod, which holds up to 2.0 ml of e‑liquid via a leakproof top‑fill system. The pod attaches magnetically to the device, simplifying installation and removal without the need for screws or clips. This magnetic connection also ensures a secure seal during use, preventing leakage even under vigorous inhalation. The Novo SLR 2.0 Pod is available in two resistance options: a 0.8 Ω mesh pod and a 0.6 Ω mesh pod. Both are included in the kit, allowing users to select the desired power output immediately upon purchase.
