G Pen Elite Vaporizer

The Elite is lightweight and reflects a sleek look. It is draped in full-black thermoplastic with unique rubber finished grips on the sides. Although plastic, the exterior does not feel cheap but rather gives a sophisticated feel. 

The small unit is ergonomically designed with an indented grip area for your index finger so that the device fits comfortably in your hand. 

On the side, an LED display exists to show temperature and battery status. There are also two temperature control buttons. 

A removable mouthpiece atop pops out to show the ceramic chamber of the pen. The power button is at the center and lights the bottom’s G logo when it is ON.

Using this pen is super easy. Take out the mouthpiece from the fully charged pen and leave one of the sides upwards and load the chamber with finely ground material without packing it too tightly. Now, press the power button five times, set the temperature between 200º F to 428º, and allow it to warm up. 

Once ON, the pen illuminates its digital LED display. The heating element activates and takes only 30 seconds to heat the unit. This beats the industry benchmark. 

Improved Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece with its silicone cover and a small steel screen at the bottom gives a comfortable feel on your lips. The tip is arched to match the design of the rest of the pen. The previous release had a fully open pass-through mouthpiece, which means nothing came in the way of the vapor from the oven to lips. This ensured additional airflow but did not cool the vapor.

However, the new piece has a new air channel to soften and cool the vapor. So, the internal mechanism is changed. No visible directly through the screen into the oven, the vapor makes some turns inside before reaching your lips.

Big Ceramic Oven / Heating Chamber

The Elite comes with a big oven size that no other portable vaporizer has at present. It measures three-fourths of an inch deep to accommodate up to 0.6g of dry cannabis. 

For some, this is a limitation, as it is essential to fill it fully to get rid of the risk of uneven vaporization. Well, this is not a deal-breaker, as even filling the chamber with just 0.2g of the herb provides good results. You get good tasting vapor, especially at the mid-range temperature levels.

Battery

The 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery charges within three hours and lasts between 6 to 12 sessions, as per the set temperature and chamber filled. However, this is not a con considering the small unit size.
